Friends Of Belfast Botanic Gardens play host to BBC Radio Ulster's "Gardeners' Corner Roadshow"
An enjoyable evening of questions, answers and advice.

The Friends Of Belfast Botanic Gardens played host to BBC Radio Ulster's "Gardeners' Corner Roadshow" on Thursday 5th December 2002.

The packed programme contained a mix of seasonal queries and interesting and perplexing questions. Panelists John Cushnie (horticulturalist, landscaper, author and member of BBC Radio 4's "Gardeners' Questiontime") and Reg Maxwell (horticulturalist, broadcaster and senior member of staff in Belfast City Council's Parks Department with responsibility for South Belfast parks) imparted their wisdom effortlessly and with humour to an attentive and appreciative audience.

Find out why "Wisteria hysteria" puzzled the panelists by tuning in on Saturday 21st December 2002 at 9.03 a.m. on BBC Radio Ulster.

John Cushnie listens intently to the tale of a non-flowering lilac.
